Ginger is no longer living. She was a sweet old doe that we came to own when her previous family was ready to move on from having pet goats, and into showing beef cattle. We appreciated Ginger for her substance of bone, extreme width and depth, and correct feet and legs which she is still stood strong on at 8+ years old. Ginger gave us the 2022 Grand Champion Dairy Wether and Grand Champion County Bred Dairy Wether at our county fair, and the Champion Recorded Grade Junior Doe at our county fair in 2024. Through her daughters she remains the centerpiece of our Nubian-type “wether dam” project to produce competitive 4H wethers for our children.

Pumpkin is a doe that we sold as a kid, but jumped at the change to buy her back after we lost her dam, Ginger. She is a copy and paste of her dam, and our goat to produce quality 4H wethers from this dam line continues through her. This fall Pumpkin will be bred to Flat Farm Tumble Charlie Brown.
