We have loved this powerhouse doe from the moment that we first saw her, and we feel honored that her previous owner gave us the opportunity to add her to our herd. Kleopatra is built like a freight train and she has it all… the topline, the width, a strong front end, correct legs, and a beautiful udder. She was the 1st place/1st udder Alpine 3-year-old at the 2021 ADGA National Show, as well as the Champion Senior Alpine Doe at the 2021 Minnesota State Fair, and the All-American 3-year-old in the 2021 Alpine International All-American. Her final appraisal score was EX92 EEEE, but she isn’t just a pretty face, she puts her money where her milk is, with milk records over 4000 pounds. Kleopatra has also consistently reproduced herself well across bloodlines and breeds, with daughters performing at the top of their classes in the 2024 ADGA National Show, including the Recorded Grade Junior National Champion, Haycreeks Outlaw Klover. This doe has become the center of our breeding program. We have retained a littermate brother to use as our own junior herdsire, Hoosier Homestead Vics Agent K. She is the dam of our 2025 ADGA Spotlight Sale buck, Hoosier Homestead Vic’s Kaiser.

KICKAPOO VALLEY JIVE NAOMI

We couldn’t wait to see Naomi in milk for the first time back when she was a yearling, and she didn’t disappoint us! Naomi has perfect teat size and placement, and she MILKS… even winning the breed High Production Award in 2022 at the Indiana State Fair – VERY impressive for a yearling. We appreciate everything about Naomi, as she embodies “the look” that we want in our does with her width, depth, naturally square leg set, and her levelness across the rump. In fact, she is the type of goat that is so correct we really can’t do anything to make her look bad, except to put a collar on her and try to make her look nice… which is why she isn’t shown, unfortunately. Nevertheless, Naomi just keeps getting better, and we are looking forward to watching her continue to mature.

Piper finished her permanent champion status with an exciting win at the 2025 Indiana State Fair. We love her for her width throughout, body capacity, beautiful long neck, and it doesn’t hurt that she has a well attached globular shaped udder, and teats that are very nice for their size and placement. It is also worth mentioning that Piper has an amazing personality, which is something that is important but maybe not talked about enough in dairy goats, but this one has firmly cemented herself as my daughter’s heart goat. She has been with both of our children for big showmanship wins amidst tough competition because she loves to be in the ring, and in general is just naughty enough to be fun around the barn.
