We have loved this powerhouse doe from the moment that we first saw her, and we feel honored that her previous owner gave us the opportunity to add her to our herd. Kleopatra is built like a freight train and has it all… the topline, the width, a strong front end, correct legs, and a beautiful udder. She also consistently reproduces herself well across bloodlines and breeds, with daughters and granddaughters performing at the top of their classes in at the 2024 ADGA National Show, including the Recorded Grade Junior National Champion. This doe will become the center of our breeding program, and we will be AI’ing her to Windrush Farms SL Invictus this fall.

PLEASANT GROVE AK MYSTERY

DOB 02/04/2023

In the fall of 2022 we made a trip to Iowa to visit Craig Koopman at Pleasant Grove Dairy Goats, and then proceeded to spend several hours sorting through a great deal of goats until we chose Pleasant Grove Jam Metro as “the doe” that we wanted a kid from. We were delighted, of course, when Craig went on to name that doe’s breeding to Kara Kahl Akimoto as his “most anticipated kidding in 2023.” There are a lot of qualities that we like about Mystery, but Craig summed up her qualities best when he saw her and said, “Wow! What an impressive looking kid. So deep and powerful already, and a nice straight topline. She looks like a mini Metro – same body style.” We felt proud to have her in our herd then, but were even more proud when we saw her freshen as a yearling with a very pretty and well attached little udder. Mystery will be bred to Kara Kahl Austin this year.
